THE CHINO

(posted by pai)

It is now clear to me that the entire internet is copying me. Only a couple days after I blow up the internet's spot with the first previews of the Wolf vs. Goat chinos (here, and here) our good friends at Valet Mag run a story about the history behind chinos. I am going to go ahead and take the credit on this one and say that it's an honor to be the driving creative force behind an excellent men's lifestyle website.

In all seriousness, the guys at Valet do a great job, so you should definitely check out their website on the regular. Here's the article from today that caught my interest:

Like most menswear, the origins of the chino are rooted in military garb. I don't even know why we have fashion shows or anything like that anymore when half of the clothing guys wear is straight from the frontline. Our servicemen and women are actually the most fashionable people in this country. Kudos to them, and if you yourself are enlisted, a big thank you from Farinelli's for keeping us safe!

Enjoy the Valet article and remember that we are hoping to have the Wolf vs. Goat chinos ready to ship by the end of this month, so start saving your pennies now! Oh, and by the way, although we aren't talking about pricing, from what I've heard on the grapevine, they will be very well-priced for the quality of fabric and construction!
